Places and Shops in Our Town

In our town, there are many different shops and places. Every morning, Mr. Brown goes to the baker's to buy fresh bread, rolls, and sometimes a nice croissant for breakfast. Next to the baker's is the butcher's where you can find good meat and tasty sausages.

If you want to read a good book by J.K. Rowling or Mark Twain, you should go to the bookshop on Main Street. People who travel take the bus at the bus station, where drivers wait and you can buy a season ticket.

Mrs. Green loves flowers. She often buys a beautiful bunch of roses, daffodils, or tulips at the florist's. Her husband likes cars and sometimes visits the car showroom to look at new cars.

For tea, cosmetics, and herbs, people go to the drug store. If you want fresh fish like carps or pikes, you visit the fish shop. Children love to eat hamburgers, hot-dogs with ketchup, mayonnaise, and chips at the fast food restaurant.
