My Living Room

I have a nice living room in my house. In the middle of the room, there is a wooden table with four chairs around it. Next to the window, there is a comfortable armchair where I like to sit and read books. We also have a big sofa where three people can sit together to watch TV or take a nap.

On the wall, we have a beautiful painting of a beach scene. Under the painting, there is a bookshelf where I keep all my books and magazines. In the corner of the room, we have a fireplace that keeps us warm in winter. There is a small doormat by the front door where we wipe our shoes.

On the small table next to the sofa, I keep an alarm clock so I don't fall asleep for too long, and a small ashtray for guests who smoke. Near the window, there is a flower pot with a green plant and a glass vase with fresh flowers.

At night, I turn on the lamp to read because it gives nice light. When I feel cold, I use a warm blanket that I keep on the sofa, and I rest my head on a soft pillow. Sometimes I listen to music on my hi-fi system or news on the radio while relaxing in my living room.
